Description:
Serial #3130, 7mm Pin Fire, 3 ½ inch barrel with an excellent bore. This is a first type, folding trigger, double action, Belgian made / Liege proofed Brevete revolver marked and made under license of "E. Lefaucheux". The early, ornate revolver features acid etched embellishment on the cylinder, frame and barrel. In excellent overall condition the barrel retains perhaps 35-40% of the original finish with the cylinder retaining virtually all, 95-97% highlighting the ornate design with the frame retaining about half the original finish now a pleasing gray. The fine checkered grips are excellent showing only very slight wear. Mechanically it functions properly with a proper indexing and crisp trigger pull and proper return. An very well made Belgian pin fire wearing the Lefaucheux name. Antique
