Very unusual consecutively serial numbered pair of L.C. Smith Grade 2 8ga guns. Roughly 40 8ga LC Smith guns made in total, finding a consecutive pair like this is uneard of! This set consists of 2 8ga L.C. Smith guns both in Grade 2 with 32" Chain Damascus barrels. Both guns with splinter forend, double triggers and extractors. Both guns have capped pistol grip buttstocks.
Gun 1 is in very nice overall condition with bold original chain damascus barrels. Frame with good original case color and stocks are very nice with original finishes. Bores are very good.
Gun 2 is also in nice overall condition with visible damascus pattern on the barrels. Frame has toned to gray/brown with engraving being fine. Stocks show more handling marks and hunting bumps as seen in the photos. Bores do have some pitting and this gun is certainly respectable and very much in the average to above average of what you see if you ever see one of these very rare guns!
