A button-rifled barrel with a 1:24" rate of twist, coupled with the Savage's AccuTrigger® unlocks exceptional accuracy. The AccuTrigger adjusts for weight of pull for a light, crisp release with no creep. Rugged, weather-resistant synthetic Accustock® features improved ergonomics with AccuFit™ technology allowing shooters to customize length of pull and comb height. Sling swivel studs and a rubber recoil pad come standard. A 2-shot detachable magazine allows you to get off a second and third shot quickly, and makes loading and unloading a breeze. Drilled and tapped receiver with installed 1-piece rail accepts your choice of optics. Oversized bolt handle ensures sure-handed, reliable follow-up shots.
