Description:
For your consideration is an Eddystone 1917 chambered in .30-06 Springfield. This rifle features a 26" barrel with a very good bore showing scattered light oxidation but strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this post-WWI made rifle retain about 97% dark gray-green arsenal reapplied Parkerized finish with light wear on high edges and contact points, a few minor handling marks, and some fine previous pinprick pitting beneath the finish. The pistol grip walnut stock is in very good plus condition with an older abrasion on the under side of the forend, ahead of the lower barrel band and an arsenal quality patch repair. .30-06 Springfield
