Description:
Frank Wesson 1870 factory cased Medium Frame Pocket Rifle, 2 barrel set of .22 caliber rimfire 12” barrel and .32 caliber rimfire 15” barrel. Both bores are excellent, equipped with factory target sights and ejector. It contains a detachable stock #1054 and each barrel is numbered 54. Both barrels are crisply marked "FRANK WESSON WORCESTER MASS / PATENTED MAY 31,1870". This is the 3rd type iron frame with push button half cock. Mechanics are excellent, tight action. Original wood grips are excellent with original finish. The 12” barrel has a fading original blue finish and the 15" barrel has an aged grey patina finish. The receiver has .95% original nickel finish. The factory wooden box is in excellent condition, the interior top lid is cut out for the set. Original factory casing contains the gun, 2 barrels, shoulder stock, wooden barrel removing wedge, 5 copper casing "U" stamped .22 rimfire cartridges, 5 copper casing "U" stamped .32 rimfire cartridges, a couple cleaning clothes and a key that fits the case, but the lock appears to be frozen. A neat casing.
