****SOLD**** Here we have a retro cool Winslow Arms Plainsmaster bolt action rifle chambered in .300 Win Mag caliber. This custom/semi-custom rifle is built on an Interarms FN Mauser Mark X action and incorporates a 26 inch premium Douglas barrel. Winslow Arms built just a very few high end highly embellished bolt action rifles. A secret bluing process was used to achieve the deep dark luster that this rifle possesses. The Mauser Mark X action incorporates a full length claw extractor and a push style safety on the right side. The real appeal of a Winslow rifle is the stock which is a work of art. This example has a Plainsmaster level stock finished to an overall Regal Grade...this rifle is gaudy enough to be extremely cool. The 26 inch barrel has a minty bore and the rifle is in excellent condition overall. The .300 Win Mag caliber is very versatile and accurate. You have never seen a rifle embellished like this unless you have seen another Winslow. The woodworking is astounding and is said to have been done by Nils O. Hultgren who was a master. The shaping and inlay work is incredible....one writer described a Winslow as the Pamela Anderson of rifles. This particular example has light handling marks and is in excellent condition overall. A Redfield one piece base is affixed to the top of the action.
