29-3/4 inch extra heavy octagon barrel measures over an inch at the muzzle and is marked J. Stevens A. & T. CO.. Excellent bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Mounting blocks in place for your choice of scopes with no accommodations for open sights. Engraved receiver shows vibrant case hardening colors. Extra fancy checkered walnut stocks with Schnabel forearm fit with a palm rest. Straight grip butt stock features a high profile cheek rest. Schoyen style butt plate shows a deep rich butterscotch patina. Gun overall appears quite fresh and is likely unused since completion.
