Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 30 Gov't'06 caliber. Bright and fairly shiny bore. Barrel and receiver show most original finish thinning and turning brown in places. Hooded front sight with the rear sight removed to accommodate a Weaver Model 440 3.5x scope with an M.L. Stith Alaskan style mount. Checkered walnut stock has been freshened up being lightly sanded with an oil finish and shows cut-out for previously mounted receiver sight. Features sling swivels and checkered steel butt plate. An early gun made in 1937.
