Description:
This seldom encountered French 5 shot single action percussion revolver features a 6 1/2 barrel and unusual internal hammer/striker system. Whats even more unusual about it is a cylinder that uses a pillar in each chamber. When the bullet is loaded into the chamber, the pressure from the loading tool was supposed to seat the bullet upon the pillar and cause its to expand so that it would better grip the rifling of the bore. This particular gun is in very good overall condition, 100% original and complete, with traces of riginal finish remaning on the metal. Action is fully functionals. Bore is very good with clean strong rifling. No license needed to buy except NJ and NYC residents.
