This rare civilian model pistol is one of 925 pistols produced. This Colt is in very fine original condition. The action works fine with no problems. The original Marine style grips are in very fine condition. The bore and chambers are in minty condition. This pistol is fitted with the standard 6 inch barrel chambered for the 38 Colt Long cartridge. The nitre blued trigger, screws and hammer retain all of that brilliant finish. The pistol butt plate has the correct swivel base cap. These civilian model 1905's were not fitted with lanyard swivels. The butt plate is also not marked U.S.M.C. The original high polish bluing would rate a 97% or better condition. This rare Colt is very difficult to find in this fine of original condition!
