Description:
This USED Colt 38 SF-VI was a modern version of the Colt Detective Special. Using a new stainless steel frame, with various simplifications, meant that it was easier to produce and didn't require hand fitting as was the case with the original Detective Special. Manufactured in 1996 this revolver comes chambered in .38 special with a 2" barrel and factory bobbed hammer for ease of conceal carry. It comes in a matte stainless steel finish, with a 6 round cylinder and Colt rubber grips with silver Colt medallions. The SF-VI had what was possibly the lightest double-action trigger ever used on a production revolver, essentially this model is a Detective Special in stainless steel with a new internal mechanism. .38 Special
