Shaw Custom Barrels began business manufacturing world-class barrels for custom rifles. This is the last of the MK VII first-generation rifles built by Shaw. Shaw blueprints the action, laps the bolt lugs, cuts a custom minimum-spec chamber, and glass-beds the action—all the stuff the big-time custom guys do.
This custom rifle comes in the highly desired 28 Nosler caliber with a highly polished stainless steel receiver. The stainless steel barrel is 26" long and is blackened Helical Fluted. The spiral bolt was built specifically for the rifle. A shrewd-style muzzle brake is installed to help reduce felt recoil by around 30%. New in the box.
STOCKS
All new stocks are a central part of Mk VII Gen II. They are redesigned with classic lines and boldly checkered grip panels. An all-new military-grade resin bonding ensures the laminates will not warp under any condition. All stocks come standard with Pachmayr recoil pads, as well as glass bedded and steel pillar bedded. Length of pull is standard 13.5". All Mk VII Rifles with laminate and walnut stocks feed from an internal, blind box magazine.

Triple Honed Trigger
The Mk VII Rifle comes standard with the AccuTrigger or Timney trigger system set at 3lb pull. Once in our facility, we triple-hone all engagement surfaces for the "glass rod" feel. Three three-position safety lever is standard.
Muzzle Break
A shrewd-style muzzle brake is installed to help reduce felt recoil by around 30%. Brakes are threaded to the barrel and add about 2" to the length of the barrel. You can also have the muzzle threaded with no brake, and thread protector included.
