Description:
This sale offers a Superposed Grade 1 Browning 20 gauge Superlight serial number 823PY16018. This gun is equipped 26 ½” ventilated rib barrels that are chambered for 2 ¾” shells only and choked I/M and I/C. The walnut straight grip stock is beautifully figured, which is not typical on the superlight models, and is in very good condition with very minor scratches from being used. It is also equipped with a professionally installed leather wrapped recoil pad which puts the length of pull at 15 1/8”. While the pictures don’t show it, the pad was installed without removing the original curvature of the butt. I might also note that the gun was manufactured in 1982 so there is no issue with “salt wood”. The stock dimensions are LOP to the wood is 13 ½”, DAC is 1 3/8” and DAH is 2”. The metal finish is very good with light edge wear and some fading.
