SOLD The Barrel date is 10-1943. The carbine's serial number is 4637278. The barrel is by Buffalo Arms Co. which was one of the barrel suppliers for Quality Hardware. The bore is bright with no issues. This carbine has all of the original parts that would be correct for the serial number range and production date. This carbine has the correct front and flip rear sight. The carbine has the original finish on the parts and gun itself. The original finish would rate a 96% overall condition. The stock and handguard are in fine condition. There is no cracks or wood damage on the stock and handguard. The wood has the correct codes for Quality Hardware in the sling slot and under the hand guard. This is a very fine condition Quality Hardware M1 carbine! Quality Hardware produced 5.9% of the total production of M1 carbines during the war. That breaks down to about 359666 carbines total! Quality Hardware is number 6 of 10 in rarity.
