The Walther G43 is a semi-automatic rifle that was developed by Germany during World War II. It has a 7.92×57mm Mauser caliber, a short-stroke piston gas system, and weighs about 1.5 lbs less than its predecessor, the G41. The G43 is often referred to by the “G” prefix, but in 1944 the Germans changed things to “K43”.
