Description:
1930 Colt pre war Single Action Army chambered in 32–20 with a 7.5 inch barrel and factory blue/color cased finish. Per the included Colt archive letter it was shipped to Albany New York December 22, 1930. It was processed on Colt factory order #19194/1 and it was a one gun shipment. This revolver remains in very high condition. The numbers match on the frame, grip frame, and grips. The last two numbers of the serial are 98 and the back of the cylinder is stamped 40. The bluing still retains all of its deep dark shine throughout and the color casing is very strong. As seen in the photos it only shows very light and superficial handling. Overall the finish rates 98%. All four clicks are crisp and the lock up is tight. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The factory grips are exceptional with sharp checkers throughout. This will be a tough one to upgrade.
