Description:
1905 Colt Single Action Army chambered in 32-20 with a 4.75 inch barrel factory and blue/color cased finish. Per the included Colt archive letter it was shipped to Simmons Hardware Company August 18, 1905. The original charcoal bluing stiil retains a dark mirror shine throughout. The color casing is very strong. The fire blue small parts are also in high condition. You will see some scattered peppering in the finish but that is about it as far as detractions are concerned. Overall the finish rates 97%. It has a tuned action and spring. It is super slick and it locks up tight. The bore shows some patchy frost. The lands and grooves are strong. It is wear a stunning set of vintage pearls with a fantastic fit to them. These arely high polish single actions are very tough to find in this condition.
