Description:
This gorgeous .50 Austin Halleck Mountain Rifle was a very high-end muzzle loader made in Weston, Missouri. It appears unfired, as only grease came out of breech and drum. The heavy browned 32" barrel has 1:66 twist. Bore is pristine. The stock is a gorgeous reddish/brown Tiger Maple with full striping. Furniture is iron. LOP us 13.5". Generally excellent condition with a few very light handling marks/scratches on the stock and barrel. Weighs 8.7 lbs. To my eye, these were the prettiest production muzzleloaders ever made. Scarce in this condition. $825.00 + Shipping.
