Description:
Solid gun, no cracks or major blems in the wood. Ebony forearm insert undamaged and nice, abeit worn dog buttplate, screws still aligned straight up and down. Fully functional, fired a couple of primed cases ok. A 3 1/2" 10 ga shell drops right
in but I would strongly advise not to ever fire it with any kind of modern ammunition. This was a blackpowder gun and never designed for smokeless powder. The bores apear rough but a patch pushed down the barrels was quite smooth- to clean the primer residue. Barrels ring true and mike about .755 at the muzzle. This is an antique so no FFL or C&R is needed. Insured shipping will be $45 to lower 48 and we need proof of age over 21 (like a driver's license photocopy) Certified funds get immediate shipping while business and personal checks wait a week to clear- sorry no credit cards anymore (old school)
