Description:
This is a truly scarce variation of Remington Army revolver , with less than a 1000 produced, this is the rarest of them all. Its virtually identical to model 1890 except the barrel and extrator housing have matching assembly numbers and those are different from a serial number that is on the frame under the grips. Barrel has been slightly shortened from 5 3/4" to 5 1/4", possibly due to the muzzle damage. Grips are imitation pearls. Overall condition is good, with a lot of heavy wear, as expected from any gun that comes out of Texas. Bore is good with distinct rifling. Action works but hangs up every once in a while a need a little help rotating cylinder. Lockup is wobbly. No license needed to buy except NJ and NYC residents.
