I'm selling the entire collection. Here is a Rare CG63 Swedish Target Mauser Rifle. FFL or C&R is required. The CG 63 Mauser is chambered for the 6.5x55 reknown for its superb accuracy. Original deep blue factory rates 90% in an exceptional condition, with its 29.1/2" heavy floating barrel with a mirror bore with sharp rifling, precise smooth match quality action with straight bolt lever. Those CG63 conversion were built on a Carl Gustaf Stads 1917 or other similar receiver of the famous Mauser Swedish factory, equipped with the tunnel globe front sight (the finish got a bit worn on hi edges in the bag) and its original diopter peep rear sight bolted, bridging over the receiver with a micrometer up, down & windage, it comes with its original period leather target sling. Plain smooth Swedish walnut pistol grip long stock for tall Swedish guy. It was well maintained & stored, scarce and seldom seen in the US, it's a true collector piece. I haven't shot this one. "When Sweden formalised its rules for 300m military-civilian matches a new rifle was developed for competition the CG63. At the Carl Gustaf factory a new heavy, non stepped haevy barrel was fitted to a receiver of Mauser Model 96. The triggers were adjusted and smoothed to match quality. A beech Monte-Carlo-styled stock with identical shallow check pieces on either side for left and right handed shooters a pistol grip and short fore end with hand guard that allowed the barrel to float. Match quality sights from several Swedish manufactures were fitted the hooded front sight had interchangeable inserts. The vertical thumb piece was removed from the bolt to increase lock time they averaged out at a weight of (10.14lbs)" I described it to the best of my knowledge.
