Very high quality Belgian Browning Safari in capable 300 Win Mag; ideal for game from Deer to Elk, Moose or Bear. Before the advent of more modern but not necessarily better modern cals, the 300 Win was used for 1000 yard competion shooting.
The hard bronwing finish on the handsome factory hand checkerd American Walnut Stock develops crazing (brittle finish) on almost all older Brownings) and this one has some hunting bumps and bruises but All Metal is at or near 100%. Even the gold fill on the floor plate remains intact. Screws are mostly perfect and never buggered and the factory Browning Recoil pad is original
Barrel is 25", barrel is med contour and NOT a pencil barrel. There is a small imperfection in the rifliing in the last inch near the muzzle.
