Description:
Low 3 digit serial number of 352. Grips match the frame. 44 RF; dark and pitted bore, fair grips, 4'' barrel, Manufactured from the late 1860's thru the late 1880's. Single shot pistol with swiveling breechblock for loading. Octagonal barrel with silver bladefront sight. Marked on the top of the barrel "CONNECTICUT ARMS & MANUFG. CO. NAUBUC CONN" and across the top front edge of the breechblock "PATENTED OCT. 25 1864". Originally blued, the metal has turned a gray patina with dark spotting and minor pitting. Checkered walnut grips showing wear, hairline crack in right grip, and some shrinkage. The action functions fine. Antique and can shipped directly to your doorsteps.
