Description:
Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 2nd issue. This revolver was manufactured between 1860 and 1868. It is chambered in 22 rimfire and has 3 3/16''' barrel. The barrel and cylinder are blue and the frame is silver plated. There are matching assembly marks on the grip frame barrel and cylinder. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun. The action cycles perfectly. The bluing rates 95%. The original silver plating has aged darkened a little and overall it rates 98%. The grips are also in excellent condition with minor handling marks and nearly all of the original varnish remaining. This will be a very tough example to upgrade.
