A very collectable member of the Colt "Snake Gun" series of revolvers that included the Python, Boa, and Anaconda. The blue versions of these were noted for the high polish finish and the very dark blue. This Diamondback features the easy carry 4-inch barrel, the vent rib, and the finely checkered oversize walnut grips. This one was made in 1974. .38 Special
