Description:
This Springfield Armory U.S. Model 1884 is a right hand trapdoor/breech loading action rifle in .45-70 Gov't. Cal. It has a 29.5 inch barrel. A blade front sight and a numbered adjustable two position notch middle sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood straight grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood. Serial Number 494160 (1890). .45-70 Government

Metal Condition: "Fair. Some freckling, rust and blue wear.
Wood Condition: Fair. Has handling marks and wear. A small crack left side behind the receiver at the side screw.
Bore Condition: Good.
Barrels: 29.5 inch.

Fore End: Smooth grip two piece hardwood.
