GREAT, ITHACA U.S. 1911-A1, CAL. .45ACP, 1225263 MFG. 1943. BETCHA DIDN'T KNOW IT, ITHACA MADE 335,000 GUNS FOR W.W. II. LESS THAN HALF OF COLT. PLACING IT IT JUST BEHIND THE "U. S. & S". IN RARITY. THIS "TRUNK QUEEN" HAS RETAINED ABOUT 90-95% OF THE ORIGINAL FACTORY FINISH. THE LITTLE LOSS THERE IS, IS DUE TO SHARP EDGE SILVERING. PRIMARILY THE RESULT OF HOLSTER WEAR. THERE ARE NO RUST PATCHES, SCRATCHES OR PIN PRICKS ANYWHERE. THE GRIP STRAPS SHOW NO GRAYING. THE TOP OF THE SLIDE HAS THE PROPER "P" PROOF. THE RIGHT REAR HAS THE "CROSSED CANNONS" ORDINANCE STAMP. THE LEFT SIDE OF THE FRAME, A "P" PROOF, AND VERY SLIGHT, THE "FJA" INSPECTOR'S STAMP. ALL PARTS ARE PROPER FOR THIS MODEL. THE SMALL RING GRIP PANELS AND GRIP SCREWS ARE PERFECT. THE SLIDE RAILS, BOLT FACE AND FEED RAMP SHOW ONLY THE SLIGHTEST USE. THE BARREL IS A CORRECT "HIGH STANDARD", THE BORE IS LASER BRIGHT WITH RAZOR SHARP RIFLING. IT COMES WITH ONE CORRECT "L" (M. S. LITTLE MFG.) STAMPED MAGAZINE. CERTAINLY A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION AND SHOULD BE A REAL HEAD TURNER AT THE RANGE MODESTLY PRICED AT ....$2845.***
