Description:
Serial number 636 Bbl, 636 Bbl 3-1/2" Cal, .31 Mfg, 1860. Blue finished with full fluted cylinder and varnished walnut grips. Very early 3 digit production with matching serial numbers on frame, Bb, and rear of cylinder. Condition. Fine with over 40% blue finish remaining with excellent wood stock with most varnish remaining. Action operates intermittently with cylinder pin backing out from time to time. Most screws are very good with several with fouled slots. Bore is very good with strong rifling and slight oxidation in grooves. This is the same vintage and model aqired by the US Capital Police to Protect Lincoln in 1860. Antique
