Description:
Weatherby Mark V Carbonmark Bolt Action Rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Using a 416R stainless steel match barrel roll-wrapped with a carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension to create strength and reduce overall weight. 95% of the carbon fiber does not touch the barrel allowing air to foil around the steel and rapidly cool the barrel, adding rigidity and reducing overall weight. This creates an incredibly strong barrel that dissipates heat very well and provides consistent accuracy with high shot counts. It also features a 4-round magazine, adjustable TriggerTech trigger, and Accubrake muzzle brake. The rifle is based on a 6-lug, push-feed action. The bolt has a very short rotation of 54° allowing for quicker reloads and the ability to mount scopes as close to the bore as possible. The forged, one-piece bolt is fluted and has relief ports and a full shroud to protect the user in the case of an ammunition failure. A smooth and silent two-position safety also serves as a bolt lock when in the 'SAFE' position. 6.5 Creedmoor
