Description:
L.C. SMITH Field Grade 12 gauge double barrel shotgun with 30" Armor steel barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, right barrel is choked (IM), left barrel is choked (FULL), double triggers, auto safety, blued barrels, case colored receiver, cocking indicators, checkered walnut forearm and stock with a black hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. This shotgun is in very good condition with 98% case coloring, 95% barrel blue with scattered wear spots in the finish. The stock has a few light scratches (right side by recoil pad). Left side plate screws are slightly distorted. The top lever is well right of center. Serial FWS41165. The "FWS" prefix to the serial number indicates that this shotgun was made after the Marlin purchase of Hunter Arms Company in 1946. 12 Gauge
