An Early Civil War Colt Model 1851 Percussion Navy Revolver In Fine Plus To Excellent Condition. Serial # 137,978 and made in early 1863. All matching numbers including the wedge. All original and complete. The revolver has excellent metal, markings throughout. The barrel retains lots of original factory blue which is evenly thinning to a natural plum patina in areas. The cylinder has a fine cylinder scene. The back of the cylinder retains four of its pins. The frame, lever, and hammer all retain excellent plus original vivid case colors. The backstrap and trigger guard are both fine with an untouched mellow color to them and small areas of original silver. All screws are excellent with original factory colors on them. The factory grips are excellent plus throughout and have a wonderful color and grain to them. They retain all of their original factory varnish on them. The fine plus to excellent revolver has a fine plus bore and action. This Is An Excellent Example Of A Civil War Model 1851 Percussion Navy Revolver. Early Civil War Colt Model 1851 Percussion Navy Revolvers Like This One Are Very hard To Come By!
