Description:
Winchester Model 88 308 caliber. S/N H266391 so probably made in 1971. It has the pressed basket weave pattern- not the cut checkering of the earlier ones. A very few imperfections in the wood. Worst two are on RH top toward front and at rear of stock on LH side- shown in photos. The metal is very nice. I fired this rifle about 10 rounds a few years ago and it worked perfectly. I can't comment on the accuracy because I don't see iron sights very well. Shipping will be $60.
