This is a beautiful Pre-War(1939) model 70 in 30-06. All original except for one hole drilled on the rear bridge. Has the original sight cover as well as the proper Redfield peep sight. The stock is not cut or inlet to accomate the peep. It has gorgeous dark wood and deep blueing., both of which exibit wear but not abuse. There is a decent scrape on the rear of the stock which I tried to take a picuture of. I can certainly take more if needed. A great old warhorse to add to your collection as I wind mine down! $65 shipping to the lower 48.
