Description:
Mauser Model 660 chambered in .270 Winchester. This unique action, Short Breech Telescoping Slide Action, was designed to use interchangeable barrels to change calibers. There is a cross pin safety at the rear of the action and an internal magazine that holds 3 cartridges. A 4 power Redfield scope is mounted on see-through rings that allow use of the iron sights. The beautifully grained European Walnut Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece has a Rosewood cap on the pistol grip and a Rosewood tip on the forearm. It has hand skip-line checkering on the pistol grip and the forearm. The Length of Pull is 14 inches. The rubber pad is deformed and hard and with that exception this rare and beautiful rifle is in outstanding condition with only very minor handling marks. .270 Winchester
