Presented here is a Dakota Predator bolt action single shot precision/varmint rifle in .17 VarTarg caliber. Dakota made extremely fine rifles known for their accuracy and precision. This rifle has a heavy target style barrel with a crowned muzzle. The stock is beautiful. A Jewell trigger insures a light and crisp break. Target style scope mounting blocks are installed atop the action. The .17 VarTarg caliber is very similar to the .17 Remington Fireball and the .17 Mach IV.....but do your homework. It is labeled as a .17 VarTarg by Dakota. This fine Dakota will launch a bullet out of the barrel right at 4000 feet per second. It's in very good condition both mechanically and physically. The stock has a few very light handling marks that look to be consistent with going into and out of a safe.
