Description:
PRICE REDUCED FROM $2000 TO $1650....This is an excellent example of an Italian Army Glisenti pistol. These were very complex pistols with all machined parts and beautiful early 1900s rust blue, that proved to be very expensive to produce. Leave it to the Italians to build a Ferrari pistol! These were used by all branches of the Italian army before, during and after WWI, eventually being replaced by the more durable and cheaper to make Beretta 1934-1935 pistols. As with many of the older military pistols these seldom appear on todays market, and the prices are escalating exponentially. Once pieces like this are absorbed in the collector’s market they are basically “GONE”. Hard assets are the wave of the future. Chambered in 9mm Glisenti and bears the profile of a Luger however the mechanics are entirely different. The interior looks more like a fine watch works than a pistol! This particular example has retained about 95% of its original finish. Very minor high edge wear in general and fitted with excellent black bakelite grips and comes with one period original magazine. The bore is in outstanding condition and comes with a late war model fitted leather holster. For payment we will accept personal checks, money orders, certified check or cashiers’ check, all major credit cards. The “out the door price” includes credit card fees / shipping / insurance. Personal checks require 8 business days to clear the bank, all other forms of payment receive same day as received shipment. You are responsible for any state and local laws. By purchase of this item, you release the seller from any liability that may arise due to use or misuse of this firearm. If you are in the Middle Tennessee area, please visit us at “The Bunker” in Cookeville TN.
