"Serial number 77456. Made in 1882. 45 LC caliber with a 3 ½" barrel. This is a very early Sheriffs model, in fact one of the first. This gun has a light brown patina. Grips are very good. Action works well. This gun comes with a factory letter confirming all features. This gun was in a shipment of 10 guns. It was shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett and Company. Colt Sheriffs models are a variation where there is no ejector rod present.
