"SN: 122393. Made in 1887. 38-40 caliber with a 4" barrel. Nice sharp gun with 10%-15% of the original finish on the barrel and trace amounts of case colors on the frame. The grips are very fine and the correct period style, but replacements for this gun. There is no record of this gun with Colt. This gun is guaranteed 100% correct and comes with a letter from noted Colt Single Action expert Ron Graham authenticating this piece. This gun is even pictured in the definitive work on Colt Single Actions The Study of the Colt Single Action Army Revolver by John Kopec, Ron Graham and Kenneth Moore. Colt Sheriffs models are a variation where there is no ejector rod present.
