Great example of an M1 early serial number 963556 manufactured date 1942. gun has all Springfield parts correct trigger housing with all Springfield trigger group. Receiver has all correct numbers for the serial number.op rod, is also correct for the gun as well as bullet guide, clip latch, follower rod, and assembly.This gun also still has its early locking bar rear site, which were replaced during and after the war on most M1. Gun was purchased from the CMP, and is in great working order. I have also cleaned up the stock, stained and oiled,. the gun shoots and looks great.
