Description:
Parker Bros. VHE grade 12 gauge built in 1923. this gun is in excellent original condition. It has 28" Vulcan steel barrels choked full (.035") and real full (.042"). The bores are mint and free of any rust or dents. The barrels are on face and lock up to the action with no play. The chambers measure 25/8" which was standard for 23/4" shells. The stock and forend are sound with no cracks or damage. The stock retainis the original dog's head Parker buttplate. The receiver retains traces of the original case colors in the protected areas. The barrels retain 95% of the original blue finish. The ejectors are timed and are strong. Built on a 11/2 frame, this gun weighs in at 7-2. This is an excellent Parker from the golden age of American doubles. It would make a great hunting gun or a fun clays buster and a great addition to any collection. C&R eligible.
