Offered for sale is a fabulous looking 28ga. Browning Citori Sporter Grade V with 28-inch barrels. This gun is unique in that it is like the Citori Superlight, having a straight grip stock, but sports 28-inch barrels, 2 ¾ inch chambers, fixed chokes and hand engraving. This gun was manufactured in Japan in 1982 and was hand engraved by M. Nozaki whose signature can be seen on the left side of the receiver. The 28-inch barrels are as new and sport a ventilated rib, a single silver front bead site and are choked Modified and Full. The deep relief hand engraved receiver has 3 pheasants in flight on the left side, 3 ducks lifting from a pond on the right and a retriever and pheasant on the bottom. The straight grip stock and Schnabel forend are made of beautiful walnut, are finely checkered and oil satin finished. This gun comes with a gold single selective trigger, an engraved quail on the beautiful long trigger guard, an auto safety and its original Browning butt pad. This Sporter is truly in exceptional shape. LOP is 14 3/8” with DAC of 1 1/2, DAH of 2 5/16 , weighs 6bs 9oz, comes in its original factory box and letter of authentication from the Browning Historical Department.
