This dot 1944 stamped Mauser Model 98 was manufactured by Waffenwerke Brünn in Brno. The bolt serial number matches the barrel. It should be a decent big game rifle if the small cracks in the stock are repaired or the action could be used to build a nice custom rifle. 8x57mm Mauser
