SER #642682, 6.5x55 Swedish, 24” barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this 1942-dated rifle retain about 97% arsenal blue with light muzzle and high edge wear, thinning on the floorplate and barrel band, and scattered light handling marks; the bolt remains bright with a spot or two of light staining. The straight grip European beech stock is in excellent condition as lightly arsenal refurbished, a few scattered light dings and handling marks, A softened Crown proof is present on the toeline and the brass stock disc is intact on the right side of the butt, showing light staining and verdigris and a bore condition of “1”. The receiver markings are intact and crisp, the small parts show the expected small Crown proofs, and the bolt and buttplate are not matching with the remaining parts non matching the underside of the barrel is import marked also missing thread cover. The rifle retains the standard open sights and appears to function well mechanically.
