***SOLD*** Winchester 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine in 38-40 (38 W.C.F.) caliber.
S/N 972228 made in 1926
20" tapered barrel with an excellent, minty bore.
95% original blue on barrel, full length mag tube, lever, and buttplate. Receiver shows areas of flaking and carry wear. Saddle ring is missing.
Excellent wood set showing 97-98% Varnish without any notable marks, just some very light handling on the untouched original finish. Steel carbine buttplate.
Sights include a pinned front and 200 yd. ladder rear.
Mechanical functions are excellent.
