Description:
An above average Colt 1st Model Officers Model Target chambered in .38 Special dating to 1906. The first model OMT was first introduced in 1904 and was made through 1907. It had the high polish bluing with the fire blue accents, i.e. trigger, hammer, screws, and pins. The target sights consist of a bead front sight and a U-notch rear sight. This 1st model had exceptionally nice fancy checkered walnut grips with the diamond pattern. This model was before Colt implemented the medallions in the grips which many felt gave it a richer look. This gun retains a high percentage of its bluing and has minimal distractions. The bore is excellent and the action is smooth and just like it left the Colt factory. A factory Colt archive letter is included. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information. Please see my other collectible firearms that I have listed.
