Description:
EARLY 700 FANS! NICE 700ADL in the RARELY SEEN .222 Remington Magnum caliber. This nice piece was produced in 1964, the first year with 24" barrel. Bore is excellent. Rear sight is absent from scope clearance.Holes plugged. Original blue on this rifle is 98% with bolt handle turning plum. Stock finish is original on a pretty nice piece of wood for a ADL. There are a few light marks here and there. NO explanation, but there is a roughly nickel size oval inlay of what appears to be glass bedding on bottom of forend(see pic). Removed stock looking for reason(hole plug, damage , etc and nothing). Action has been glass bedded and appears done well. Trigger is factory. Has Weaver base blocks.
