This Ithaca SKB Model 600 is a precisely engineered over/under shotgun featuring a Kersten type cross bolt for superior lock up, chromed bores, hand cut checkering and simple yet elegant engraving covering the receiver and trigger guard. Built by SKB for Ithaca between the years 1966 to 1977, this gun, serial number S6609233 was manufactured in the early 70’s. Known for their solid and rugged actions, Model 600’s are built to last and offer a hard-to-beat value, dollar for dollar! This example is in excellent condition with 99% of its factory finishes showing. It has been professionally fitted with an extra set of Ithaca SKB 500 barrels to make this combo a sure hit on the skeet fields! The 28ga 28” barrel is original to the gun and is choked SK/SK while the 25 ¼” 20ga set is choked CY/IC, both have with mirror bores. It has a single select trigger. The wood to metal fitment is superb. This handy gun weighs just 6lbs 5oz when mounting its 20ga barrels and is balanced just in front of the pin, the 28ga barrels balance on the pin. This Ithaca 600 two-barrel set can be supplied in the Negrini case as seen in the pictures.
