Description:
22 inch round barrel and receiver show deep dark finish with some scattered very light freckling. Excellent bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Front sight has been shaved off and rear sight has been removed to accommodate Weaver K10 scope. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with a coat of finish added shows typical handling marks with uneven finish along the bottom from the grip back along the toe line. Remington marked checkered aluminum butt plate. Equipped with swivels and a period leather sling. There were only 3,803 of this caliber made between 1950-1962.
