This is an original 1862 Colt Pocket Navy. 36 cal. It comes with it's original leather holster. The 5 shot cylinder has the stagecoach scene which is 80% visible. The frame and 5-1/2" barrel have some original finish in protected areas only. The loading lever is unnumbered and has someone's initials stamped underneath. All other parts have matching numbers 4617. Mechanically the hammer is strong but only latches on full cock, no half cock. This is a good honest and relatively rare gun that has not been coverted to Thuer or Richards conversion. I purchased this from the renowned gun expert N. Flayderman about 45 years ago.
