"U.S. Springfield 1866 2nd Allin Conversion Trapdoor .50-70 caliber rifle. Rifle is in great condition. Breech block has original blue finish. Lockplate is dated 1864. Rifle has a beautiful stock with sharp cartouche. Barrel has an area of minor pitting. Bore is in great shape with strong rifling. Very nice rifle!
